Role: Art Director
Scope: Visual identity development, brand system design, cross-functional and executive alignment
Overview
Led the development of Milksha’s visual identity, establishing a cohesive brand system that translates the company’s quality-driven philosophy into a clear and modern visual language.
Partnered closely with executive leadership to align the brand with broader business goals, ensuring the identity reflected both product quality and long-term growth strategy.
The Challenge
Milksha’s core differentiator, high-quality ingredients and a more premium tea experience. Needed to be clearly expressed through its brand.
The challenge was to:

Differentiate within a highly saturated bubble tea market
Create a system that could scale across store environments, packaging, and campaigns
Align both creative and executive stakeholders around a unified direction
My Role
I led the creative development of the visual identity, working at the intersection of design and executive alignment:
Defined the core visual direction and brand tone
Built a flexible VI system that could extend across multiple touchpoints
Partnered directly with the executives to align creative decisions with business priorities
Translated leadership feedback into clear, actionable creative direction for the broader team
Key Contributions
Developed a modern, premium visual identity aligned with Milksha’s product quality and positioning
Created a scalable VI system adaptable across retail, packaging, and marketing
Bridged executive vision with creative execution, improving alignment and decision-making
Established stronger brand consistency and recognition across touchpoints
Outcome
Delivered a cohesive brand identity that elevated Milksha’s market positioning and aligned with leadership’s vision for growth.
The system enabled more consistent execution across teams while providing a clear framework for future brand and retail expansion.
Reflection
This project reinforced the importance of strong communication with executive stakeholders.
Aligning early with leadership helped ensure that creative decisions were not only visually strong, but also strategically grounded and scalable for the business.
