Led creative direction for Meta Prosper’s AAPI Beauty Summit 2024—an event celebrating and supporting Asian American and Pacific Islander entrepreneurs in the beauty space.
Developed a cohesive visual identity and event experience that honored cultural nuance while elevating the voices and stories of emerging founders.
The Challenge
The summit brought together founders, speakers, and internal teams with diverse perspectives and expectations.
The challenge was to create a brand and experience that felt:
Culturally authentic without being generalized
Elevated and premium, reflecting the beauty industry
Flexible enough to support a range of content—from panels to keynotes
Aligned across stakeholders with different priorities and sensitivities
My Role
I led the creative development of the summit’s visual identity and experience, focusing on both design and alignment:
Defined the visual direction and tone for the event
Designed key materials including presentation decks, signage, and event collateral
Partnered with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure cultural and brand alignment
Guided execution to maintain consistency across physical and digital touchpoints
