Facebook Gaming -
Creator Bootcamp (Website Redesign)
Role: Art Director
Scope: Web design, content structure, visual system, cross-functional alignment
Overview
Led the redesign of the Facebook Gaming Creator Bootcamp website—an educational platform designed to help creators learn, grow, and succeed on the platform.
The goal was to create a more structured and engaging experience that made content easier to navigate, understand, and act on.
The Challenge
The existing Bootcamp experience contained valuable information, but lacked clarity and structure, making it difficult for creators to fully engage with the content.
The challenge was to:
Simplify and organize content-heavy educational material
Improve navigation and usability across the site
Create a system that could support ongoing updates and new content
Align multiple stakeholders around a clearer, more effective user experience
My Role
I led the creative direction of the redesign, focusing on both user experience and content clarity:
Restructured the information architecture to improve usability
Defined a visual system that supported learning and readability
Partnered with product, content, and cross-functional teams to align on structure and priorities
Guided execution to ensure consistency across the site
Key Contributions
Improved content organization and navigation, making the platform more intuitive
Designed a clear and scalable system for educational content
Enhanced readability and engagement through more structured visual design
Aligned teams around a more user-centered approach to content delivery
Outcome
Delivered a more accessible and user-friendly Bootcamp experience that helped creators better understand and apply platform tools and strategies.
The redesigned system supported ongoing content updates while improving overall clarity and usability.
Reflection
This project reinforced the importance of structure in content-driven experiences.
Clear organization and thoughtful design play a critical role in helping users not just access information but actually learn from it.
